Currently in stock at our Brisbane showroom is the new Mori Seiki NL2500Y/700 CNC lathe. The NL2500Y is a rigid and precise high speed CNC lathe with heavy duty milling capabilities and Y axis.
The heavy duty turret is uniquely designed with the milling motor in the centre. This design greatly reduces the number of parts needed which in turn reduces vibration and provides maximum power to the cutting tool.
The base and all other major components of the machine have been made with rigidity as a priority resulting in very stable and low vibration machining. Heat reduction systems have also been incorporated to increase machining accuracy.
Mori Seiki's MAPPS III is a powerful yet simple to use CNC control. The machine can be programmed in conventional NC language or with the easy to use, intuitive conversational MAPPS III.
